The introduction post

Thanks for being drawn into this new blog for a moment. It’s probably a good idea for me to introduce myself a little bit extra to what’s on my About page.

This blog is going to be about my journey as a father.
The things I need to do to juggle a working life, a social life and family life.
The experiences I have and share with my family.

I’m married to Helen, have been for 3 years. I love being a husband.
I have a son, NJ, who’s just over a year old. I love being his dad.

I have a bit of a plan for the things I want to share with you and the direction I want the blog to take but I’m not going to tell you what that is. I’m just going to let it unfold before your eyes and hopefully you’ll keep coming back, follow me on Twitter, find something that I post useful or interesting or both. I hope something I post might inspire you or help you. I want to try and add some value into the world and at the end of the day if nothing else then at least there’s a cool collection of stories and entries to go through with my son when he’s older.
