“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
– Khalil Gibran
One of our favourite places to go for a short break is the Yorkshire Coast, and Filey in particular. We went recently and it always reminds of how much those kind of trips lend so much to the development of our children in the things they experience, the things they say and people they interact with.
The two pictures I’ve chosen for this week’s Living Arrows are both taken literally moments apart, on a small carousel that J-Bubb had been desperate to go on since arriving. NJ has ridden many carousels in his 4 short years, but for J-Bubb, this was very likely his first, at least to ride solo with no mum or dad holding on. The freedom is evident in both their faces.
Fun was had at Reighton Sands, Haven Holiday park, Filey.
